DIY Jean Bag

Sweetie Pie was at it again.  She is one crafty girl.  This time she upcycled a pair of too small jeans.
Too see what she made earlier in the week click HERE.

Once again she got her idea from an American Girl craft book.  This one was specific for jazzing up your jeans.  You can read more about it or purchase it from amazon.com HERE.

We used an old pair of jeans, cut them off a couple of inches below the back pockets, turned them inside out, sewed up the bottom and added a shoulder strap.  It was a quick project with minimal sewing skills needed.

Here is Sweetie Pie modeling her new jean bag.  The strap just happened to be the belt that came with the shorts she's wearing.  She never used it as a belt and decided it would be great for a strap.  So now she can look all coordinated when she wears her new jean bag with those matching shorts.
