My son loves Legos and mazes. So why not combine the two and make a maze out of Legos.

Rearranging Bedrooms AGAIN
Friday I mentioned how I decided to rearrange the Spencinator's room - AGAIN.
The reason I wanted to rearrange it was because it wasn't working out.
To see what his room used to look like, you can check out this post HERE.
The yellow table next to the lego storage unit wasn't being used like I thought it should. Plus the Spencinator said he didn't like it and wouldn't build legos on it, he prefered to use the floor.
See what I mean:
The mess was not contained to the lego side of his bed, legos spilled out to the other side too:
It was a hot mess:
So you see, I was totally justified in having to rearrange his furniture again.

Yard Sale Bargains
I love getting a good bargain so of course I love yard sales.
Here are a few things we picked up lately.
The Spencinator was the first to spy this one and was begging us to buy it before we even got out of the car:

I couldn't believe they were selling a huge Lego Star Wars set for just $1.00! Of course we had to get it.
Some of the pieces were still in the original packaging. There wasn't an instruction booklet, but that's not a problem. There are a couple of websites out there (such as letsbuilditagain.com and worldbricks.com) where you can plug in the Lego set number and download that set's instructions for free.

Inspiration For The Weekend - 11
I saw this on Pinterest and have been thinking of making a similar one for the Spencinator's room. He loves Star Wars and Legos so this would be perfect.
Stop on over at toileinthefamily.blogspot.com to see how Molly made this huge Yoda silhoutte from foam core.
If I ever get around to making one, I'll be sure to post about it so stay tuned and -
may the force be with you.
Sorry, had to throw that in there.

Furniture Rearranging (part 2)
I'm back to show you how I rearranged the Spencinator's room.
You can check out part 1 HERE.
I'm warning you, I took lots of pictures in trying to figure out the best arrangement.
Here is what the room looked like before:
I know, not a very good picture, but you can see that all the furniture is on the perimeter of the room.

Lego Organization
Thanks for stopping by. If you'd like to keep up with all of our craziness, be sure to follow along using one of the options on the right sidebar.
Ah, Legos.... a fun childhood tradition that can easily get out of control. Legos can be found all over the house or in a huge pile in your son's room. Stepping on a stray Lego isn't fun either and can put you into a fit of rage declaring a ban on all Legos. But wait, there are plenty of solutions to this problem. I found a lot of ideas here. Although that was after I came up with my own idea, which isn't very original since it was also listed among the other ideas there. My solution works for us, and has continued to work for us since we implemented it about two months ago. Hopefully you can find something that works for you so you can get your Lego collection under control before you get so frustrated you throw them all away.
